Sometimes, when getting an unexpected behavior, such as an error, the information can get captured and saved in the browser settings.

Usually, simply clearing these settings will allow you to proceed and get the results you're anticipating.

Clearing Browser Settings in Microsoft Edge

You can clear the cache click the … in the upper right corner of the browser, select SETTINGS towards the bottom of the menu.

On the left, select "Privacy, Search, and services".

Under "Clear browsing data", press the [Choose what to clear] button. I usually let the default stay checked for "Browsing History", "Download History", "Cookies and other site data", and most importantly here "Cached images and files".

Press the [Clear now] button. 

Close ALL your internet windows, then open a fresh browser window to try again. 


Clearing Browser Settings in Google Chrome

To clear cache in the Chrome browser click the vertical … in the upper right corner of the browser, select SETTINGS towards the bottom of the menu.

On the left, select "Privacy and security".

Under "Clear browsing data", select the options you want to clear.  I usually let the default stay checked for "Browsing history", "Cookies and other site data ", and most importantly here "Cached images and files". 

If your browser was saving your password, you'll need to click the Advanced tab at the top to check the check box to clear passwords also.  

Be sure the Time Range states "All time".

Press the [Clear data] button. 

Close ALL your internet windows, then open a fresh browser window to try again.
